A large area of effect weapon wouldn't be the weapon of choice when in highly secured areas, its like using a truck full of C-5 in the middle of a city to asassinate one person when you have a silenced pistol as well. In certain situations however...

Leave the MWD as it is, make sure you can only have 1 running at a time. The big one in my opinion is stopping them have such a dramatic effect on agility. Ships maneuver better at low speed, but when you get the MWD on your ships speed suddenly ...

I'd still like to see the system where the rate of fire is somewhat proportional to the volume of missile being fired. Using made up numbers as I am far too lazy to check them myself..... A small launcher can launch 1m3 of missile every 8 second...

I'd like to see them toned right down, funnily enough it is possible to farm 40-50k pirates all day long with using multiple damage mods. I'm not sure what the best way to do it would be, but perhaps something along the lines of a damage mod only...

Are we still going to see larger sized (cruiser fitting and then battleship fitting) launchers with high firing rates, aimed at spamming rockets and light missiles? I think there is still a need for the larger ships to be able to fire off a good ...

I'd go for that, I also think dual/quad weapons should have double the Rate of Fire of a single turret. Single turret has a 4 sec RoF? then why not give the dual a 2 sec RoF.

All the dual/quad versions of weapons are more or less a waste of time. Unless i've missed something blindingly obvious the smaller sized single versions of all these guns outperform them in every aspect except maybe cap and range. The cap differ...

I dont think it's just railguns, i think its almost all the dual/quad versions of the single guns. Either they should have double or quadruple the rate of fire of the single weapon counterpart, or perhaps the medium and large ammuntion should have...
